Bahrain Institute for Banking and Finance (BIBF) asked Vision to define its brand and design new graphic systems; to produce its annual reports and to create a commemorative presentation book announcing its new US$ multi-million campus in Bahrain Financial Harbour.
A professional world-class provider of education and training solutions in finance and other sectors, BIBF caters for over 18,000 local and international students a year. While it already had a well established logo, there were no brand standards or systems in place, so all communication materials were suffering from visual and verbal inconsistency, resulting in a presentation that was not living up to its offering.
Vision was tasked with a thorough brand audit of every touch-point used by the institution, followed by the creation of a full brand standards manual to bring clarity and simplicity to all communications. As part of the process we also reviewed underlying brand strategy and rewrote positioning and value statements to define the BIBF brand. We developed house standards for typography, tone of voice, language, colour palette systems and supporting graphics. We designed and set out clear grids and guidelines for everything from the course catalogue to adverts, newsletter, class material, stationery, forms and more, providing a comprehensive resource kit of templates for the internal design team to work with. We also advised on naming, website, architecture, wayfinding, marketing and many other aspects of communications, to bring BIBF up to a truly international standard.
In addition to brand definition and standards, we were tasked with design and production of BIBF annual reports, corporate profile and a high-quality presentation book showcasing the exciting new campus set to be built in Bahrain Bay.
