A new leisure retailer asked us for help in establishing a water sports centre in Bahrain. The business strategy was to create a centre that offers a range of new boats and watersports equipment with a full complement of engineering and maintenance services.
Despite being an island, with boating a poular pastime, Bahrain had little by way of integrated marine centres, relying on scattered retail outlets and chandlers. Smart Boating Centre now offers a quality approach, with showrooms and service levels akin to a major motor vehicle dealership. In terms of brand, and rapid customer aquisition, a brand has to be instantly identifiable, so Vision Gulf created a simple emblem of a propellor. An obvious solution perhaps, but one that creates least resistance to understanding. In short time frame, we developed a suite of marketing collateral and organised the elements for a large exhibition stand at the Amwaj Islands boat show, where Smart Boating Centre was launched to the public for the first time.
